Will transportation be provided?

Transportation to our ceremony will be provided for all guests! The bus will pick guests up on the Elm Street side of the Thompson Hotel at 1:00pm. There will be two trips, if you do not make the first bus, another bus will arrive at 1:30pm for the last group to transport to the wedding ceremony. Transportation will also be provided back to the Thompson hotel after the ceremony.

Will there be a welcome party?

Yes, there will be a welcome party to greet all of our guests as they join us for the weekend ahead. This event will be held at Catbird on the ninth floor of the Thompson Hotel beginning at half past eight on Friday, June 13th.

Will there be an after party?

Yes, we will be hosting an after party immediately following our reception. We invite you to join us for a drink at Catbird on the ninth floor of the Thompson Hotel.

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

The ceremony will be held at the Christ the King Catholic Church and the cocktail hour and reception will be held at The Thompson Hotel in downtown Dallas.

Is there parking at the ceremony?

Yes, there will be free parking provided at the church if you decide to drive. You can park on Colgate Ave next to the church or on Interrante Ave.

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

While we love your little ones, we ask that you do not bring your children to wedding events unless named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to “The (your last name) Family” or “Mr & Mrs (your last name) & Family” if your children have been invited.

Can I bring a date/guest to the wedding?

Due to capacity, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. All invited guests will be listed on your invitation and RSVP.

What should I wear?

The wedding is black tie optional. For men, we ask that you wear suits or tuxedos. For women, we ask that you wear floor length dresses. Please dress respectfully for church.

Will the wedding take place outside?

All wedding events (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) will take place indoors.

Will there be a time gap between the Wedding Ceremony & Reception?

Yes there will be a gap between the ceremony and reception. The ceremony is expected to end around 3pm and the reception to start at 5:30pm. We encourage our guests to freshen up for the reception or grab a drink at Little Daisy in the Thompson prior to cocktail hour starting.
